Rolling out now: Young Wizards "New Millennium" Revised Editions

The first four Young Wizards novels have been in print for between twenty and thirty years, and DD has wanted to do revisions of all of them for some time.

The present US publisher of the Young Wizards series, Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, has expressed an interest in publishing revised versions of the novels at some time in the future. However, DD wants to make revised editions available to the readership in the short term, and ebooks are the best way to do this.

In late 2012 Errantry Press began releasing new revised ebook editions of the Young Wizards series. Each book has been updated by DD to reflect technological and other changes that have become commonplace in the minds and lives of her younger readers over the last two to three decades. In some cases she has also extended the books -- adding new material never published before. 

The first book of the series, So You Want to Be a Wizard, is available exclusively here at Ebooks Direct with a new cover by noted German-based graphic artist Niko Geyer.  Also now available are the New Millennium editions of book 2 in the series, Deep Wizardry, Book 3, High Wizardry, Book 4, A Wizard Abroad, book 5, The Wizard's Dilemma, and Book 6, A Wizard Alone. Book 7, Wizard's Holiday, will be released in late May of 2013, with Book 8 (Wizards at War) and Book 9 (A Wizard of Mars) following in June 2013.

All New Millennium Editions will be made available via Amazon.com in late 2013 in Kindle editions and via the iBook Store in an ePub edition (courtesy of Kobo).  Additionally, print editions of all the books will also start rolling out in Q3 of 2013, to synch with the 30th anniversary of the publication of SYWTBAW.

The "classic" editions of all nine books will remain available here (as International Editions) and at Amazon and B&N for those readers who prefer to purchase them.
